Why Tonight Was Awesome

(in order of occurrence)

1.  Got myself out of my comfort zone and it was a win.
2.  Bought this really cute seaside charm bracelet for $8 at Charming Charlie.
3.  Found David Bowie’s Hunky Dory on sale at Borders.  I’ve been wanting this one because it has “Quicksand” on it, which is one of my favorite songs of his.  
4.  Found this really cool art book on sale, as well as a couple of other goodies.
5.  Heard some really pretty songs that I want to look up.
6.  Got to see my best friend from high school for the first time in a year! I hung out with her for a couple of hours. I was so excited to see her.  I met her husband, and I am very happy to say that he is a good guy. I’m so happy for her because she deserves someone who will treat her well.
7.  Got sentimental thinking of the friendships I’ve maintained from high school and am just really grateful that these people are still in my life.

No, this entry is not alcohol-induced. I’m just happy.
